Introduced in April 1999, the EOS Rebel 2000 put 7-point autofocus and full program, priority and manual modes into a light 35mm SLR. It winds the whole roll out when you load it and shoots back into the canister, so the frames you have taken are protected if the back is ever opened. It takes any lens in Canon's EF range.
