Olympus launched the SP-810UZ in 2011 with the world's longest zoom lens: 36x, from a true 24mm wide angle out to 864mm. Wide enough for a street or a room, long enough to pull a car in from across the lot. It is a full bridge camera that still fits in one hand, with dual image stabilization to hold the long end steady. It also shoots 3D: take one frame, slide the camera a few inches sideways, and it takes the second on its own, then pairs them into a 3D image for a 3D TV or a Nintendo 3DS.
